Ostecibum

Ostecibum is a food supplement formulated to support normal bone health in adult women, including during and after menopause. The product is provided as film-coated tablets, a practical format for daily intake in a convenient routine. Ostecibum combines calcium and vitamin D3 with botanical extracts from wild yam (Dioscorea spp.) and Chinese angelica root (Angelica sinensis).

Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and utilization of calcium and contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. The recommended daily dose is two tablets taken with water, preferably with meals. Each tablet provides 400 mg calcium from calcium carbonate and 10 µg vitamin D3, and also contains 35 mg wild yam root extract and 25 mg Chinese angelica root extract. The daily dose provides 800 mg calcium (100% NRV) and 20 µg vitamin D3 (400% NRV), together with 70 mg wild yam root extract and 50 mg Chinese angelica root extract. NRV = Nutrient Reference Value.

Ingredients are calcium carbonate, wild yam root extract (Dioscorea spp.), Chinese angelica root extract (Angelica sinensis), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate, and a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose film coating. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If taking medication or under medical supervision, consult a healthcare professional before use. Individuals with impaired kidney function, a history of kidney stones, hypercalcemia, or those advised to restrict calcium or vitamin D intake should seek medical advice prior to use.
